Goodbye Danko

This morning my brother sms'ed me. "Happy birthday, btw Danko is dead"

Danko is our cat... actually Marina was the one who adopted her but it became our cat. We named her Danko after sargeant Danko of the Dirty Dozen (my favorite show back then) and her sibling was named Hitler as she had a small 'mustache' that looked like the dictator... Anyway, Hitler died as a kitty and Danko lived to be 18 years.

She was my companion when I used to stay up late to study for SRP, SPM and STPM.... and she used to sit on my books when she thought I had studied enough...

Mom said she died in the house... as all cats, she tried to get out to die alone but my mother won't let her.... so I'm glad she did not die alone.

Sad as I am.... but she has been a good cat... Know you'll reach cat heaven. Love you, Danks.
