New place.....new beginnings

went to work yesterday....

feel very ackward when people call me Miss Lynn... yeah I know la... I am still a Miss

Anyway, traditionally a surgeon is called Mr but this is only for those with the FRCS. Dunno whether it also refers to those with Masters of Surgery... anyway, history has it that the surgeons wanted to be differentiated from the Physicians and thus the term Mister. Some say that it differentiates the doctors from the butchers..hmmmm

But this Miss thingy. Crap. I worked so hard to be called a Dr and harder still to become a surgeon.. and after 8 years of being called a Dr I'm back to MISS... whatla... MIStake??? MISS me??? MIShap?? ahhhh...
